In Alexandria, Mayor, City Council, School Board, State Delegate, Sheriff, and Commonwealth’s Attorney are on the ballot. Note that most of Rosemont is in District B for school board. Willard Scott. Willard Scott – NBC weatherman and the original Ronald McDonald – who passed away on September 4, grew up in Rosemont. His family lived at 125 Commonwealth Avenue in the 1940s and he was the president of the George Washington High School class of 1951.
